The things I do to show my friends that I love them. I am currently here
This is Oxford.
Seriously, the things I will do. I travel all over the world. I am bloody nice.

I just thought I should share this little bit of info, 'cause I am updating my blog more often and all.

Walking.

I don't have my drivers license. This means that either people are very nice and drive me places or I walk. I could bike but I prefer walking.

Have you ever walked the same route for an entire year, and not only in the nice weather? It is amazing.
I have just watched all the seasons pass in their natural, gradual timing.
It was sunny this morning. We have had a mild winter, but all the same, the sun felt lovely. It was still crisp, and steam was rising everywhere the sun struck, and in all, saying my morning offering was the most organic way I could express myself. I don't often get taken over with the need to glorify God, but on my walks it has been happening more and more.

All in all it is a great reason to not drive yet.

Small Fry

Because I believe in investing in friendship.

I do not have a child but I think that my most recent cat might count. He will not eat cheese if it is offered, but he will find all the crackers and/or bread left on the counter, tear open the bag and proceed to scatter bread crumbs everywhere. Because he can.

He went to the vet. for his first set of shots this week. My goal to have an orange cat got sabotaged.  His official colour is cream. And at 5 months he weighs 7lbs. The vets official statement was, and I quote "He is going to be huge." Do I only get to have huge cats? All my cats have been huge.

I nickname everything. Myself, my parents, friends, you name it, I will nickname it. Just a fact. Some one please tell me how I go from Tolliver to Small Fry? Small Fry? Why do I call him THAT? My Dad calls
him squirt, which is normal. Mum calls him babe. Also normal. Small Fry? Huh.

One Year.

I started this exactly one year ago. I forgot I started it on my birthday. Huh.

I think you should meet Tolliver, but then I would have to use a camera and upload pictures and get them onto this thingy. And that is just way over my pay grade. I did not make up my kitten's name. Just so we are clear. No, it is not the weirdest name you will ever hear, and yes, it suits him.

I did not keep all of last years resolutions. I didn't buy my claymore.

Also, I don't like gardening. I just don't. Sigh. I haven't got to this years New Years list-of-things-to-fail-at-in-the-coming-year. I am not one for resolutions and it shows up in my keeping of them. But I am back on my blog, so there is that.

Maybe see you soon. No promises.

I know the number for 911!

I made my first ever 911 cal two days ago. Accidentally calling in my babyhood did not happen. And then in my childhood I never had to. But two days ago I did.

I was at work when this squealing of tires and smashing sound happened. I said a little prayer, and then my manager rushed in and said "Christina, call 911!" So I did. It all happened ... the way I been drilled since I was little. I even managed, for my poor dyslexic brain, to have all the pertinent info on a piece a paper to read off of. So, my first emergency call ever.

OK, Sweet Thing, here we go;
Riley Poole. I love nerd glasses.

Sherlock Holmes and an awesome coat.
Dean Winchester. Because he is yummy.
Any Doctor would do, but this one has nerd glasses.

Girlie, did you want to see someone in particular?

I have a blog?

I actually took off by choice. I was plowing my way through so many really good blogs, reading other peoples journeys, in their faith, their lives, and I had nothing to say. I do not feel I am growing, in anything really. So I took a break, I didn't read blogs, and I wasn't  here either. And then Jen of http://www.conversiondiary.com/ invaded my dreams last night and told me off for not reading her blog. Really.

So I came back to say that I have nothing to add. Big things haven't happened in a while, and lots of the little things feel either to small or to personal, for sharing.

Wanna see some cute boys?

Next time.

They don't have music notation on Blogger?

So, I just had a music lesson.

I SANG DIMINISHED FIFTHS!

This is big. Like BIG big. I feel like a giddy, totally high, kid. It is an intense feeling.  Yeah, endorphins.

Today could be a list of good things.

  • I sang dim 5ths, as both intervals and in ex. 6, A CAPELLA! Good day.
  • First week of fall TV. I, unlike all the people I know, have cable and watch TV shows on the TV, not the computer. (Weird, I know.  I really need to do something on TV.)
  • It's second day of fall and it rained this morning.
  • I have my basic line up for my exam nailed down. And I can almost sing my recits.
  • I have six books lined up and waiting for me to read them.
  • I saw people this week.
  • Chocolate is my friend.
OK, That's a wrap. Move on folks, nothing left here for you.
